Can You Ride An E-Bike Without Pedal Assist?: Steep Hill Challenge

What happens if you run out of battery or your motor packs up? In this video, I see if you can ride a heavy e-bike without pedal assist up a steep hill. It's possible, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it! The electric bike used in this video is very heavy at 34 kg, plus it has big tyres which increase the weight and rolling resistance. A lightweight e-bike shouldn't pose too much of a problem though as they can be easily ridden with or without assist.
