Bafang BBS02 750w Electric Trike Conversion

This Dino Cars Electric Trike is fitted with a Bafang BBS02B 48v 750w ebike conversion kit and 48v13ah battery. I usually just build ebikes, but when a customer asked if I could convert his trike, I couldn't resist the challenge. The motor installation was fairly straightforward as the trike had a standard 68mm threaded bottom bracket. The only real issue I faced was mounting a small 120mm disc on the rear axle (with a mechanical caliper). Due to the weight distribution on this trike, it was prone to popping wheelies when full throttle was used going uphill. I limited the speed to 15 mph for safety and the customer was only going to be using the trike on flat ground and the beach. In pedal assist level 1-3 the trike had enough power to enable easy pedalling, in level 9 it was a bit too lively! I dialled the start current back on the pedal assist and throttle.
