Here is an Ice recumbent trike that I have converted to electric assist using a Bafang 250w rear wheel hub electric conversion kit along with a 36v 15.6ah battery. The only extra item I had to purchase was an extension lead for the pedal sensor. The Bafang 250w hub motor is reliable, efficient and produces a reasonable amount of torque. The 36v15.6ah battery I used, had a useful space to house the motor controller. I have only ridden recumbent trikes a couple of times in the past, and having a small 250w electric hub motor really makes the experience even more enjoyable.
